OUR HISTORY
Wiitta was established in Saarijärvi in 1972. We manufacture pipe fittings and offer contract services related to injection molding for plastic and rubber products. We are based in Hevossaari in Heinola, amid beautiful lake scenery.
We currently employ about 30 professionals. We have implemented an operating system that is audited by international certification bodies several times a year. In 2015, our quality management system was granted the ISO 9001:2015 certificate, one of the first certificates to be granted to a Finnish company. In all our operations, our goal is to offer competitive collaboration services through flexible services and high-quality products.

Wiitta-Tuote is established in Saarijärvi.
1973

The company starts out as a manufacturer of extruded profiles and importer of pipe products from Norway.
1975

The company transfers to Kuivaniemi because of logistics and expands its profile production and import operations.
1978

The company acquires its own pipe extrusion machinery and begins the manufacture of pipes.
1980

The company invests in injection molding technology and manufactures its first Mawinal pipe fittings.
1988

The company invests in the manufacture of PP pipe fittings and expands into exports to Sweden and Norway.
1992

The premises in Kuivaniemi are expanded.
1997

Operations expand to Heinola.
2005

The company makes its first deliveries to Denmark.
2008

Deliveries to Belgium begin.
2010

The next generation takes over, and the company changes its name to Wiitta.
2012

The company gains new customers in the Benelux countries.
2013

As a result of a corporate deal, contract manufacturing becomes an important part of the operations. The company becomes a limited liability company.
2015

Wiitta is granted the ISO 9001:2015 certificate.
