Wiitta was founded in 1972 in Saarijärvi. We manufacture sewer pipe fittings and offer contract services for injection moulding of both plastic and rubber products. We operate in Heinola's Hevossaare, in the beautiful lake landscape of the picture.
Today, our skilled staff is around 20 people strong. We have our own operating system, which is audited several times a year by foreign certification bodies. In 2015, our quality system was awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification, one of the first in the country. In all our activities, our aim is to provide a flexible service and competitive cooperation with quality products.

1972
T:mi Wiitta-Tuote was founded in Saarijärvi.
1973
The business started with the manufacture of extrusion profiles and the import of tubular products from Norway.
1975
Moving to Kuivaniemi for a better logistical location, profile production and import operations expanded.
1978
Purchase of own pipe extrusion equipment and start of pipe manufacturing.
1980
Investment in injection moulding technology started and the first Mawinal pipe connections were made.
1988
Investment in the production of PP sewerage pipes began, followed by exports to Sweden and Norway.
1992
Expansion of Kuivaniemi premises
1997
Expansion of operations to Heinola.
2005
First deliveries to Denmark.
2008
Deliveries to Belgium started.
2010
Change of generation, the business continues as Wiitta Ky.
2012
New customers in the Benelux.
2013
Contract preparation becomes an important part of the business following the transaction. The legal form of the company was changed to a limited company.
2015
Wiitta Oy was awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certificate.
